Hi I’m Justine, owner

and photographer of

The Kerrs Photography.

I’ve worked professionally as a photographer since 2019. Prior to that, photography had always been a keen hobby of mine. My husband Damien is my other half. He enjoys street photography, film cameras and a good steak. He is the quiet one but with the most beautiful energy, the gentle giant if you will, and works the big lens at weddings.

When I’m not photographing I’m spending time with my 3 beautiful children and husband. Okay, truth be told I spend most of my days at home trying to get my toddler to sleep, washing 5 loads of laundry, thinking about what to cook for dinner and figuring out school pickup. We’re happiest when we’re out camping roasting marshmallows, by the ocean building sand castles or simply enjoying the outdoors. Unless it’s hills. My middle child does not do hills. She’s just turned six.

I love fashion but I feel my style has evolved since having children. Opting for comfort over a stiletto and the hem of my skirts have lengthened for practicality, cos mum life, am I right? I cannot live without coffee, value honesty, true friendship and believe in continual learning and growth.

I love nothing more than capturing love in all its forms. I tear up at every wedding I photograph, am constantly in awe at the beauty and strength of mothers-to-be, those precious fresh babies in the early newborn days and watching families grow. The love found in each of these stages of life is so unique. Always growing, always evolving, always deepening in ways we would’ve never imagined possible. And that is the beauty of it. I’m here to capture all of that so you can reminisce on those fond memories and treasure them forever.
